How to make vanilla petit fours

Sweets flour and more = 130g ( equivalent to one cup)

Powdered sugar = 40g (equivalent to 4 tablespoons)

Baking soda = a small sprinkle

Soft butter = 125g

Salt = a pinch

1 egg yolk

Powdered milk = 8g ( equivalent to one tablespoon)

Vanilla powder = 10g ( equivalent to one tablespoon)

Steps to make vanilla petit fours

Beat the butter and sugar until the mixture is creamy using a wire whisk.

Add the eggs, vanilla, and a pinch of salt, and whisk well into the mixture until smooth.

Add the baking soda and switch to a hand mixer. Then gradually add the sifted flour and powdered milk, kneading until the dough comes together.

Shape using a shaping machine or a piping bag. If the dough is too soft to shape, refrigerate it for an hour, then shape.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C on the middle rack for 4 minutes from the top and bottom, then from the top only for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
